Varesha Mauney
With a BS and Graduate work in Business Administration and Marketing, Varesha
Mauney started her career in Human Resources, first as a Recruiter of new
talent for a Placement firm and then for over 7 years as a Human Resources
Officer in Banking. Her dual focus on effectively marketing employment
opportunities while meeting senior management's business needs created rapid
success. Providing support through a corporate merger which created a $7B
company stretching over seven states, she was tapped to join Corporate
Operations in Pittsburgh, overseeing the Corporate College Relations Program,
the Bank's year-round management trainee recruitment program for all its
divisions and subsidiaries.
She met her husband, moved
to Florida and began a new chapter in her career - running a start-up retail,
training and vacation travel business in West Palm Beach. As she recalls,
"This was a time of tremendous growth for me personally, in which I learned the
ropes of being a small business owner and all the hats required. My
personal skill with retail sales, phone sales, computer programs, the Internet,
management and accounting operations all grew enormously in a short time, of
necessity, and we rapidly earned a reputation in the industry as a quality
provider with a unique niche. What we were doing wasn't all new, but it
was better than our competition, in the form of service levels, equipment used,
amenities offered and quality of staff training and performance. We
exploited those differences and were rewarded by being named #3 operation in the
US and in the top 10 in the World."
With the arrival of their two
children, Varesha and her husband sold the business and she transformed her
career again, going back into a consulting role. Combining her ten years
of entrepreneurial experience with ten years of corporate experience to help
area businesses generate revenue through effective marketing, she has been able
to create optimal marketing plans in support of clients' corporate and sales

James Mauney
A consummate salesman,
Jay Mauney internalized early on in his career the importance of
effective salesmanship. His cardinal rule: Ask for what
you want. His skill in building relationships with
prospective customers, following through to the close, and
providing public recognition of customers and vendors has always
made him the "go-to man". Taking a faltering retail
business in his home state of North Carolina and turning it into
a powerhouse retail facility was only step one on his path.
Breaking free of traditional expectations, he turned to a
non-traditional career path which provided personal fulfillment
first, as he engaged in making his avocation his vocation.
Bringing that non-traditional business to a Top 10 in the World
status was one of the most rewarding achievements in his life.
Following this accomplishment, he turned to building another
hobby into a successful career in the auto racing industry, now
the leading sport in viewership in the US.
Over the
last three years as Publicity Director for the Florida Region
SCCA, he has persistently worked to move the Club forward to
build participation, involve vendor support and communicate
clearly with its membership, recognized publicly in 2007 with
a National Award for Region Achievement.
Along the
way, his entrepreneurial growth never took him far from one
basic premise: Great businesses are flexible, attentive to the market and recognize that
selling their product is their #1 priority, while the ultimate strength of an entrepreneur is the ability to stimulate sales.
He brings this outlook to the table on each project, working
with each client to meet their stated goals while never leaving
this main tenet behind.
